Like most 2020 Brides & Grooms, Summer and Will had to postpone their original wedding date, which had been planned for May of 2020. They still eloped (with only their closest family members at their side) on their original wedding date and we were FINALLY able to celebrate their wedding in a BIG way back in June!
It was an honor and a privilege to be available to (finally!) be able to photograph Summer & Will’s wedding day. We started off the day at Summer’s Mother’s house, as she and her Bridesmaids, Mother, Aunt and other family members got ready for the day.
Once ready, we all ventured to the absolutely gorgeous campus at Western Kentucky University for the Bride and Groom’s first look, followed by the Bridal Party portraits and the Bride & Groom’s Portraits.
The Bride with her GORGEOUS Mother and beautiful sisters! How precious?!
I feel like I would be doing you a grave disservice by not preparing you now: Grab. A. Tissue. This First Look had ALLLLLLL of the feels! Will wrote and recited aloud a poem handwritten for Summer. There was naught a dry eye to be found.
I mean…. Really? Could they be any more precious?!
For the record, I will from henceforth require all Brides and Groom’s to exit their wedding ceremony THIS happy!
Following their ceremony at Living Hope Baptist Church, we ended our amazing day at the GORGEOUS La Gala Wedding Venue in downtown Bowling Green, Kentucky. Summer and Will, surrounded by all of their friends and family FINALLY danced the night away, celebrating their beautiful wedding day.
Covid may have brought the world to a screeching halt in 2020 but it certainly did not damper the love Summer and Will share for one another. Thank you, again, for entrusting me with capturing your beautiful wedding day!
